Minutes of the AGM held on Sunday the 26th of March 2017
Present : Venerable Metteyya, Ajith Senanayake, Ajith Rathnayaka, Sujatha Rathnayake, Kumudu Senanayake, Daniel Silva, Upul Herath, Ushan Haegoda, Prasanthi Amerasinghe, Matt Bentley, Geoffery Moore.

Minutes of the AGM in 2016
Minutes of the 2016 AGM were accepted. Proposed by Upul Herath and seconded by Ajith Senanayaka.
President’s Report
President of the trust, Ajith Rathnayake, welcomed the members of the meeting and gave a brief history of the temple and also a description of the various activities that were conducted during 2016. He thanked all the committee members for their support during the past year. The report was accepted. Proposed by Ushan Haegoda and seconded by Daniel Silva.
Treasurer’s Report 2016
The treasurer’s report/financial statement for 2016 were presented by Upul Herath. The report was accepted as there were no objections. Clarification was done as to the question asked by a member regarding the health insurance for residential monks. Proposed by Kumudu Senanayake and seconded by Ushan Haegoda.
Election of members of the Trust Committee
Aijth Rathnayake thanked the outgoing committee for their support during 2016. Venerable Metteyya thanked all the member of the Trust for the work they have done over the year, and for the people who contributed to the temple and those who supported its various activities. He also thanked the members who helped in fundraising activities to achieve the targeted goals.
All members of the Trust Committee resigned and the following were appointed to the 2017 – 2018 committee.

Treasurer - Upul Herath - Proposed by Ajith Rathnayake, seconded by Ajith Senanayake.
Assistant Treasurer - Buddhika Ariyarathne - Proposed by Venerable Metteyya seconded by Ushan Haegoda

7 members all together and the quorum is fine.

All those standing for the new committee were thanked by Venerable Metteyya and gratitude was expressed for those serving on the incoming committee by the new president, once again Ajith Rathnayake.
